This June, I will be participating in 30 Days of Creativity, the results of which will be featured on this site every day. This means that Fishy and Beefy will be staying at the kennels for the coming month (They'll be fine). Cheesy will be squeezing himself thru tiny holes in the floor, eating your biscuits and leaving tiny plopsies everywhere.

Thanks to everyone who came to see me at Comiket this past weekend. An absolutely heaving show, with a great atmosphere, in a lovely setting. It was great to see friends old and new, and my gratitiude to everyone who kindly procured a comic or print from me. I've always strived to keep my blog updated as regularly as possible, but in the past few weeks you may have noticed that this has declined steadily (to nothing at all last week). For this, I am sorry. Consider this post your virtual apology cake. There has been a good reason for my absence, and I hope you'll agree with me.

I have spent the last month or so doggedly, determinedly, creating a brand-new Hairy Mary comic. That's the cover up there. This is the character's first appearance in about 13 years (lucky for some!?) and my first comic for a veeeerrrryy long time. If you've never heard of Hairy Mary, don't worry!- it's been a long time, after all. This new volume requires no previous knowledge and is a perfect introduction to Mary and her world, in luxurious technicolor!

A luxurious black-and-white experience also awaits you in the pages of Fishy and Cheesy. The cover also featured above. You may have been enjoying/been appalled by the charming antics of these adorable yet rancid mammals in this very blog. Their first adventures now come collected in a handy pocket-sized paper format. Imagine the fun you'll have delighting small children and revolting old ladies with this soon-to-be collector's item!

It's personally very exciting for me to finally have produced books that people can hold in their hands, and hopefully enjoy, after such a long absence from comics. It's been a lot of hard work to get them ready, and I had to self-impose quite a strict schedule to get everything done, but it's been worth it. And the best thing of all, is that despite everything, once I actually finished- I wanted to do it all again! I hope you'll be as excited by this development as I am. I can't wait to show you!

These two comics are scheduled to debut this Saturday at the Comica Comiket Independent Comics Fair in London. I hope you can make it. I'll be in good company. It will be packed to the rafters with talented creators and exciting publishers, and admission is free! See you there!

I love Miss Martian! Her popularity is on the increase, thanks to the Young Justice cartoon, which has just revealed her terrible secret (I'm not telling)!

I've modified her outfit to make it a bit more like a Japanese school uniform, and I thought that Zook would make her a kawaii little companion. I'm sure J'onn J'onzz won't mind. He never seemed that keen on the little fella.
